Lambert defends Wycombe changes

Wycombe manager Paul Lambert insists that the six changes he made to the side beaten 1-0 at Notts County on Saturday were justified.

Lambert altered the team who beat Chester a week earlier in order to rest players ahead of the play-offs.

The Scot told BBC Three Counties Radio: "I had great belief in the ones that came in, I always have done and always will do.

"There were a lot of changes but we dominated the game."
