Everton came through a hectic Women's Premier League weekend with two wins from two to continue their fine form.
The Toffees kicked off with a 4-1 win at Watford on Saturday followed by a 6-0 home win over Cardiff City Sunday.
That took Everton's unbeaten run to 14 matches, but left relegated Cardiff with just three points from 12 outings.
Charlton Athletic, set to drop out of the top flight along with Cardiff, also suffered a heavy defeat as they went down 6-1 at Birmingham City.
Watford 1-4 Everton
Striker Natasha Dowie hit a hat-trick, initially stinging the Hornets with the opening goal inside the first 60 seconds.
It took the home side only two minutes to put themselves back on level terms, however, striker Ashlee Hincks finding the net.
Dowie's second goal did not arrive until 24 minutes after the interval, but within two minutes she completed her hat-trick to all but seal victory.
For good measure right winger Toni Duggan hit a fourth goal for the Toffees a minute from time.
Everton 6-0 Cardiff City
Four goals in 17 first-half minutes shattered Cardiff as the Toffees, with virtually the same starting line-up as on Saturday, showed no signs of tiredness.
Dowie opened the scoring in the 28th minute then Michelle Hinnigan, Rachel Unitt and Jill Scott added further goals in rapid succession.
Duggan hit the fifth goal two minutes after the break and Michelle Evans completed the rout in the 68th minute.
Birmingham City 6-1 Charlton Athletic
Northern Ireland striker Amy McCann bagged a brace to help Birmingham run up their biggest win of the season.
The game was over as a contest inside the opening half hour as Blues raced into a four-goal lead.
McCann's 15th-minute header was followed by Maz Gauntlett and Becky Hall goals, before the Northern Ireland player doubled her tally with a brilliant individual effort.
Midfielder Heather Scheuber stretched the lead two minutes before half-time, but 20 minutes into the second period striker Danielle Farmer reduced the arrears.
That proved no more than a consolation, however, as left back Katy Ward rounded off a good day for the Blues with a superbly struck 30-yard drive for goal number six.
