Nico Rosberg

In his father's footsteps

Nico Rosberg

Nico Rosberg had a lot to live up to when he started in Formula One, but his ultimate potential remains unclear.

The German's father, Keke, one of F1's most exciting talents, won the world title with Williams in 1982.

His son made significant progress in 2007 after a solid debut season which had strongly hinted at a decent future.

He is talented and highly rated, but was outclassed by Mark Webber in his first season and his most recent team-mates are not out of the top drawer.
