Monza, Italy

Animated version

Monza is full of atmosphere, even if the circuit is not what it was Monza is one of Formula One's greatest venues, with an ambience like no other race track in the world.

You really can feel the ghosts of races past in this autodrome that has held Grands Prix for more than 60 years.

The concrete banking on which F1 cars raced in the 1950s is still in place and the track, in a protected park, looks very much like it always has.

Unfortunately, its flow has been interrupted by chicanes and some of its best corners have been neutered.
