Promising newcomer


Sebastian Vettel

Sebastian Vettel has done his reputation as a future star of Formula One no harm at all this season.

It has been an up-and-down season so far - he has had anonymous weekends and been involved in a few tangles.

But at other times he has been highly impressive, and has generally put team-mate Sebastien Bourdais in the shade.

Vettel, who was BMW Sauber's reserve driver until he replaced the sacked Scott Speed last season, will be promoted to Red Bull in 2008.
