Teenager Neilson wins at Olympia

Daniel Neilson in action Daniel Neilson produced a fine display to win the Accenture Young Show Jumper award at the London International Horse Show at Olympia.

The 17-year-old, who chose show jumping ahead of a career in football, won with 1.27 seconds to spare.

His Belgian-bred mount Ungaro was third out in a five-way jump-off, clocking an unbeatable time.

Thomas Velin won a 10-horse jump-off in the Christmas Cracker Stakes to beat Michael Whitaker into second place.
