Great Britain struck gold at the first archery World Cup tournament of 2008, in the Dominican Republic.
Alison Williamson, Naomi Folkard and Charlotte Burgess won the women's recurve team event, defeating Italy in a thrilling final.
It is their second successive World Cup gold, having won the team tournament on home territory, in Dover, last August.
The trio are all in the running for selection to go to the Olympic Games in Beijing later in the year.
They trailed after both the first and the second ends, but finished with a flourish, with Burgess clinching the gold with a 10, as they completed a 207-196 win.
"It's a fantastic result achieved in difficult conditions, because it's been very windy," said team manager Hilda Gibson.
"It's a great start to Olympic year, because they've been up against the best in the world over the past few days, and this really is a great confidence booster."

The British men's recurve team of Simon Terry, Larry Godfrey and Thomas Barber finished sixth overall.
In the individual event, Barber, Godfrey and Alan Wills went out in the last 32 stage, while Terry lost in the last 16.
The final day of competition in Santo Domingo also saw the GB women's compound team miss out on a bronze medal in bizarre circumstances.
Up against Mexico, the British trio of Lucy Holderness, Nicky Hunt and Nichola Simpson, trailed by five points after the first end, but pulled it back, and after three ends the scoreboard showed a GB victory.
But five minutes later, officials revealed that the match was actually tied, so the archers had to regroup for a sudden death shoot-off.
Both teams shot 29 points with their first attempts, but with the second the Mexicans prevailed by 28 points to 27.
Liam Grimwood also missed out on bronze after being pipped 113-102 by Australia's Patrick Coughlin in the thrd place shoot-off.
