GB hold world champions Germany
Great Britain men's side boosted their Olympic hopes by holding world champions Germany to a 2-2 draw in the first of three Tests in Dusseldorf.
Matt Daly's pass enabled Simon Mantell to deflect the ball home with a reverse stick as Britain led at half-time.
But Germany, who qualified for Beijing without conceding a goal in six games, levelled through Sebastian Draghuan's penalty corner and Florian Zeller.
However, Jonty Clarke forced the draw with a last-minute goal.
The next match takes place at 1500 BST on Saturday.
