Thomas secures indoor title shock
Port Talbot's Ben Thomas won the Welsh Indoor Bowls title after a shock 9-8, 9-6 win over World number five Jason Greenslade in Llanelli.
Thomas will now face John Price in the Welsh International Open first round on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, teenager Becky Shore has been crowned Welsh womens indoor bowls champion after beating Jenny Lewis.
The Cynon Valley club member, 18, won the first set 11-5, lost the second 4-7 forcing a tie-break which she won 2-0.
