Mount Nelson lands Coral-Eclipse
Johnny Murtagh steered 7-2 shot Mount Nelson to a last-gasp win in Saturday's Coral-Eclipse at Sandown.
It was another stunning Group One success for trainer Aidan O'Brien as the Rock Of Gibraltar colt held off 5-2 favourite Phoenix Tower.
John Gosden's Pipedreamer, at 4-1, was not far behind the front two in third.
Murtagh said: "We have some marvellous horses this is another. We got to the front but he idled a bit so I'd say there's a bit more to come from him."
Earlier, Anna Pavlova proved a cut above when winning the Group Two bet365 Lancashire Oaks at Haydock Park.

"It was a great ride that won it for Mount Nelson"

Trained by Richard Fahey, the 5-2 joint-favourite travelled kindly for Paul Hanagan and gradually cut her way through the field.
Jim Bolger's Ezima was sent off as the other 5-2 joint-favourite and beat the rest comfortably enough, but she had no answer to Anna Pavlova approaching the distance.
The winner passed the post with three and a quarter lengths to spare, while Ezima had a length and a half in hand of the staying-on 40-1 chance Queen Of Naples.
