Captain McAslan leaves Panthers

Sean McAslan

Nottingham Panthers captain Sean McAslan will not be returning to the East Midlands club next season.

The 28-year-old was offered a new contract at the National Ice Centre, but has opted to move to the Rodovre Red Bulls in the Danish Elite League.

McAslan scored 82 goals in 114 games for the club in two seasons in Nottingham, finishing as leading goalscorer in both campaigns.

He won both the play-offs and Challenge Cup in his time in Nottingham.
