Doherty secures Pot Black title
Ken Doherty won his second successive title as he beat Shaun Murphy 1-0 in the Pot Black Cup final in Sheffield.
Doherty, who retained his Irish Championship crown last Sunday, earlier beat John Higgins in the quarter-finals and Graeme Dott in the last four.
Murphy reached the final after wins over Peter Ebdon and Stephen Hendry while Mark Williams and Neil Robertson were the other quarter-final losers.
This is the third time the event has been played since it returned in 2005.
