Ronnie O'Sullivan's 147 break is as good as anyone can ever play this game.
As soon as the first red went in the pocket, I looked at the balls on the table and just said 'maximum'.
That's how good this boy is.
I could see by the way he was looking at the table that it was on. He was just hitting the ball so well that it was hard to see him not making it.
He wasn't even thinking about finishing the final frame of the match off there. As soon as the position came up he was thinking about the 147.
He cued so, so well and the shot off the third last black to move the red from the pink was absolutely superb.
Ronnie hit it at 100 mph and got the perfect cannon on the pink to release the red and you could see from the way he bounced round the table afterwards that he was pleased.
It's a tremendous achievement to make a maximum. Even in practice, it's amazing, but to do it in competition and on The Crucible stage for a big prize of £157,000 is amazing.
He's very focused and, to be honest, if he plays like that he'll win the tournament, simple as that.
In amongst all the excitement of the maximum break, people will probably forget that Mark Williams - who lost to Ronnie in that match - has dropped out of the world's top 16 now.
He'll be joining the likes of me in having to qualify for ranking tournaments. I've seen him a few times this season and I actually think he's not been far away from playing at his very best.
Mark's not been quite there at this tournament - but it's a nearly thing. He's getting back to something like what he can be.
We forget that it wasn't so long ago (in 2003 Williams held all four of the sport's biggest titles) that we were thinking 'who is going to come along and beat him?' as he was playing so well but he's had a bit of a dip.
It will be an eye-opener for him to go back to playing in qualifying but his quality is undoubted - he'll definitely be back in the top 16.
He's too good not to be.
