Former England captain Lawrence Dallaglio played his last ever game of rugby on 31 May 2008 when his Wasps side beat Leicester 26-16 in the Premiership final.

Dallaglio, who was born in Shepherds Bush in west London, has spent his entire club career at Wasps after joining as a teenager.

While still a teenager he played for the club in the 1990 Middlesex Sevens, including this game against Northampton, but had to wait until 1993 to make his 1st XV debut.

He bulked up considerably during his career but as a lanky youngster he was quick enough to play on the wing.
