Osprey Powell joins London Welsh

London Welsh have recruited Mike Powell, Alec Jenkins and Ben Thomas ahead of next season.

Osprey lock Powell, 29, made 22 appearances for the region including the 2006 win over Australia. He also played for the Warriors and Bridgend.

Wales Sevens wing Jenkins, 20, is a Scarlets Academy member who has been playing for Llanelli RFC.

Lock Thomas, 20, joins from Saracens and was a member of England's Under-20 Grand Slam team this season.
