Heriot's 24-31 Melrose
Former Scotland international Craig Chalmers led a magical Melrose side to Scottish Hydro Electric Cup glory over Heriot's at Murrayfield.
Jordan Macey, David Whiteford Calum Anderson and Wayne Mitchell all crossed for tries during Melrose's devastating first-half display.
Scott Wight's four conversions and a penalty put the Borderers in command.
Melrose eased off and Heriot's scored tries through Cammy Goodall, Innes Brown, Oliver Brown and James Thomson.
