SATURDAY 26 JULY - BBC RADIO SCOTLAND (0905-1000 BST)

Scottish rower Katherine Grainger

John Beattie is back from sunning himself on the continent and he and Katie are joined in studio by special guest quadruple amputee climber Jamie Andrew.

Jamie explains why he's joining in with a new BBC Radio Scotland project called Days Like This, and disabled climber Kevin Shields says having only one hand will not stop his attempt on The Hurting route this winter.

The Great White Shark has been spotted again, but this time veteran golfer Greg Norman is playing in the Senior Open at Royal Troon.

We hear from Scots rower Katherine Grainger as she finishes her preparations for the Beijing Olympics.

Young Scottish badminton player Imogen Bankier is also going to China, but as part of the Team GB Olympic Ambition scheme.

We meet boxer Josh Taylor as picks up the Young Athlete of the Month award, and we head across the Channel for a final report from Peter Slater on this year's Tour de France.

Watch Katie talking to Glasgow's only licensed female boxer, Gemma Brodie:

Listen again to John and Katie's interview with boxing legend Evander Holyfield:

And watch Katie's interviews with champion track cyclists Chris Hoy and Kate Cullen:
