Great Britain's team got off to a great start with cyclist Darren Kenny winning gold in the 1km open time trial.

The former milkman from Bournemouth went on to add another gold and a silver at his first Paralympics.

Tandem cyclist Aileen McGlynn and her pilot Ellen Hunter also won in the women's 1km tandem time trial on day one.
