Warrington Wolves winger Matt King said he has been embarrassed by his poor form in his debut Super League season.
The Australia international told BBC Radio Merseyside he has struggled to settle since arriving from Melbourne Storm last summer.
He said: "My personal form at different stages has been embarrassing by my standards. I haven't been happy.
"I've done things that I haven't done since I was a little kid. Bad passes, dropping balls and missing tackles."
King, who signed a four-year deal at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, has made 14 appearances so far this season and scored two tries.

"The last month of footy I've been happier," said the 27-year-old.
"I'm still not at a standard that I'm entirely happy with, but I'm happier now that the sun is out and we're halfway through the competition."
King also revealed he has had difficulties adapting to life in England.
"I really didn't anticipate how tough it was going to be," he said.
"Not only the weather, which is different to what I'm used to, but the lifestyle of being indoors compared to outdoors is very different.
"I had been in Melbourne for five years and I really knew my place within that club and within the team."
